Patrick Swayze in photos
Patrick Swayze's publicist Annett Wolf says the 57-year-old "Dirty Dancing" actor died Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, after a nearly two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. It was 1987 when Swayze became a star with his performance in "Dirty Dancing," a coming-of-age story set in a Catskills resort. The 1990 film "Ghost" cemented his status as a screen favorite. Swayze was recently starring in an A&E television show 'The Beast' which premiered January 2009.

'Potter' fans dress up for premier
More than an hour before the midnight showing of 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' on Wednesday, July 15, all 18 theaters at the Rave Motion Picture Theater were sold out. The West Chester Twp. theater reached its 4,060-seat capacity by 10:30 p.m. with hundreds of fans arriving decked out in Potter gear.
