Lincoln visit remembered

An event was held at Government Services Center to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's speech in Hamilton on September 17, 1859. It was his only visit to Hamilton and it occurred one year before he was elected President of the United States. In the speech, he railed against slavery and supported Cincinnati Congressman John Gurley.
