Pet blessing at West Chester church

The Lord of Life Lutheran Church in West Chester Twp. held a pet blessing on Sunday, Aug. 9. Pastor Deb Dingus held the service outside in the church's outdoor sanctuary and concluded the service by blessing the pets that the attendants brought.

Goslings hatched

A pair of Canadian geese had 7 goslings at the Butler County Medical Center complex in Hamilton on Wednesday, here they are seen one day old, on Thursday, April 23, 2009. Employees who work near by say the geese always nest in the same spot and that someone or something has taken the goslings after they hatched the last two years.

Bark N' Purr Ball

The Animal Friends Humane Society held the "Bark N Purr Ball'' this Saturday evening, February 28, 2009 at Receptions in Fairfield. The event featured auctions, live music and buffet. All proceeds go to the Animal Friends Adoption Programs.
