The 55th annual Antique and Classic car parade takes place in Hamilton on July 25, 2009. The parade began in Hamilton and traveled to Fairfield and back again. The cars were judged in 66 classes and three trophies were awarded in each class.

A single-vehicle crash occurred late Tuesday, June 9, on Ohio 129, Butler County Sheriff's deputies said. The driver, Shawn Dane of Liberty Twp., apparently lost control and struck the sound barrier. The car rolled and the driver was ejected, but suffered non-life threatening injuries.
