Candlelight vigil for fire victim
A candlelight vigil was held at the Little Blue Football Field in honor of the late DeMarcus Thomas who was killed in a fire one year ago, December 12th, 2007. Family, friends, and teammates of DeMarcus were in attendance.

Lincoln visit remembered
An event was held at Government Services Center to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's speech in Hamilton on September 17, 1859. It was his only visit to Hamilton and it occurred one year before he was elected President of the United States. In the speech, he railed against slavery and supported Cincinnati Congressman John Gurley.
