Students visit classmate with cancer

The entire student body of Fillmore Elementary School, 750 students, took a field trip Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, to the home of fellow student and cancer patient Tyler Rothert to lend their support. The Cincinnati Bengals also sent the "Who Dey" mascot and autographed footballs from Chad Ochocinco, Carson Palmer and Marvin Lewis with messages of support.

Nasal H1N1 vaccine administered

The Butler County Health Department is administering the first live, attenuated intranasal (LAIV) H1N1 vaccines, a nasal spray, to health care workers aged 49 and younger at Princeton Pike Church of God on Friday, Oct. 16. The department has received 8,300 doses and expects more to come in the next few weeks.
